In the heart of Batalha, a family-run bolthole with direct views of the UNESCO-listed Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery. About 20 minutes from Fátima, Alcobaça and Nazaré, 30 minutes from Tomar and 40 minutes from Óbidos; Lisbon ≈1h30 and Porto ≈2h by car. Family-friendly and centrally located with free outdoor parking.

Nineteen cosy, bright rooms with wood floors—six refurbished in January 2016 and the rest in May 2016. Most rooms have balconies (eight overlook the monastery, others face the pool, garden or town). Rooms include private bathrooms, cable TV, minibar, in-room coffee and tea, and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Local artwork is sold on site.

Outdoor swimming pool and a small gym for light workouts. A snug living room with a fireplace, billiards table and an outdoor play area for kids. Many rooms wake up to monastery views and there is free outdoor parking.

Guests are greeted with a welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast features homemade cakes and jams prepared by the owners, and a small shop sells their preserves alongside local artwork.
