We had so much fun. When you get in there, you have to stop at the main building. They were super nice, they gave us a map, gave us directions, and answered questions we had. We set up a National Parks account. We had to use the bathrooms there, they were so clean, I was impressed. We took our 3 year old on the trail to the Aztec Caves, a little less than 2 miles. So beautiful. The trail gets a little narrow and steep. Very steep at the cave entrance. And there's loose rocks, so definitely wear shoes that have grip on the bottom. But my three year old completed the hike. It was awesome, so beautiful. We will be back.

Very nice experience. Be prepared to walk and walk and walk. We got there at 5PM on a Sunday and left at 9. It was on the weekend before Halloween so “fright-night”. This meaning the ghouls come out at nightfall. This is BEST/AWESOME/FUN to watch them just scare the living daylights out of the little ones and of course female teens AND Adult females (lol). You won’t get bored!!! Rides are both for the little ones and adults. The food is ok and a little on the expensive side. Overall the family will come out enjoying it.

Really fun local Waterpark. You can easily blow four hours of a day or more here. Lots of tree canopy coverage so you don't burn when moving between rides. They offer rentable cabanas for small all the way to large groups. There is a nice variety of low and high thrill rides/slides. They recently remodeled the kids area to be even more kid friendly. BEWARE, their pricing is on a sliding scale. The farther out you buy your tickets, the cheaper they will be. Same day gate passes are the highest. In my opinion this is kinda ugly as it is in the El paso area and most people here are very past minute by nature. There are only a couple of food vendors, but they serve pretty solid amusement park fair. They often have live bands performing and also do large party event reservations. Overall it's a pretty fun place if you're looking for some fun in the sun in the El paso area.

On our 2nd week long trip to El Paso, we went to L&J Cafe for an early lunch. I would have to rate it as my favorite restaurant experience of the two trips. As a Kentuckian, L&J Cafe seems to be an authentic El Paso mexican food experience. You get fresh made corn tortilla chips with three different salsas when you sit down. The 3 heat levels for the salsas satisfy different palates. We also ordered chilli con queso as an appetizer which was nothing but cheesy goodness. The lunch special the day we visited consisted of a chicken, a shredded beef and a ground beef taco. The shells were perfectly crisped and the fillings were delicious. The tacos came with rice and beans and a chicken/rice/veggie cup of soup was part of the special.. Campbell's can only wish their soups were this good. We finished with the moist, light Tres Leches cake that did not disappoint, along with some sopaipilla. Oh, and as an ice tea aficionado, I can rate theirs an A. Finally, our waiter Fabian did a fabulous job. If you are in the area, give L&J Cafe a try. I think you will enjoy the food and the experience.

Cool vibes throughout the restaurant. Being from Michigan, we have different, quite Americanized Mexican restaurants around, for instance, the salsa here was very different then what I get back at home. It was really good I thought, both kinds. I had some big cocktail with an ice cream on top, and it was really good (REALLY pricey though, but could at least taste the alcohol a little bit) I had taquitos, and thought they were just ok, I wouldn't get them again, very dry and bland. My son had steak tacos, I did try a bite and thought that was really good. Service was quick and friendly.
