Southern Comfort Lodge

Southern Comfort Lodge sits just outside central Bulawayo, about 6 km from the city center and within a 15-minute drive of Centenary Park and City Hall. The lodge is also a short drive from the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair and the Bulawayo National Gallery.

This small lodge has a relaxed, lodge-meets-local vibe with a fireplace in the lobby and a garden terrace to stretch out on. There are just six guestrooms, each with satellite TV, a desk, coffee/tea maker and private bathrooms featuring shower/tub combinations and deep soaking tubs. Housekeeping runs daily and the property offers a mix of indoor comfort and outdoor chill—think poolside loungers and picnic or barbecue spots.

Take a dip in the outdoor pool or unwind in the garden and terrace areas. On-site perks include a restaurant and bar/lounge, complimentary Wi‑Fi across the property, free parking, tour assistance and on-request transfers. Practical extras cover laundry and dry cleaning, a safe-deposit box and wedding services for events.

There’s a conference center and meeting rooms totaling about 2,422 sq ft (225 sq m), plus complimentary wireless internet for guests. Front desk hours are limited, and airport or train station pick-up can be arranged for a surcharge.

The on-site restaurant serves local flavours and the bar/lounge is perfect for evening drinks. English breakfasts are offered daily from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee.
