Lion Sands River Lodge  

On the river at Lion Sands, River Lodge is a light-filled safari lodge with sweeping river views. Family-friendly and intimate, it’s where couples, families and friends reconnect with nature.

A sophisticated take on the traditional safari lodge, with bright contemporary decor and limited walls that blur inside and out. Wooden walkways thread past giant shade trees to the main deck, spa, gym and pool. Accommodation includes eight Luxury Rooms, six Superior Luxury Rooms and four River Suites — the River Suites sit further back for extra privacy and each is fronted by a plunge pool, with one configured as a Family Suite. A recent renovation added extra light and space, while deck water features create the feeling of floating on the river.
