In the wide-open bush of the Klaserie Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Makumu Private Game Lodge is an all-inclusive, family-friendly safari lodge with direct access to Big Five country and uncluttered views across the African bushveld. Hoedspruit is the preferred airport for transfers to the lodge.

An intimate, private oasis with six individually decorated suites (maximum 12 guests) built for privacy and style. Suites feature private furnished balconies or patios, private bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. The lodge leans into open, endless vistas and a simple, authentic bushveld vibe.

This all-inclusive lodge offers guided safaris, an outdoor pool, massage/wellness services, a 24-hour fitness center, and playrooms for children. Concierge services, a gift shop/newsstand and free self-parking are on site. Roundtrip airport shuttle is available on request (charges may apply), and you can expect sunlit bushveld mornings and evenings full of wildlife sightings.
