Perched in the cloud forest of San Gerardo de Dota, inside the Los Santos Forest Reserve and about 24 km from Orosi’s center. Built between 2003 and 2008, the lodge has eight modern bungalows finished with Latin American touches. Rooms feature queen beds with goose-feather duvets, balconies or terraces, minibars, coffee makers and private bathrooms—many with in-room Jacuzzis. The Deluxe Suite adds a wood fireplace and its own garden trail. Hot water is solar heated and the property prides itself on personalized, nature-first service.
