Ivory Lodge

Perched on tree-stilted platforms above a waterhole in Dete, in a regional park near Painted Dog Conservation and the Painted Dog Research Center. About 11 km from Painted Dog Conservation and roughly 24 km from Hwange National Park, this all-inclusive lodge drops you close to big-game country.

Just 9 individually decorated guestrooms with minibars, coffee/tea makers, turndown service and daily housekeeping; cribs/infant beds available on request. Rooms look out over the waterhole so you can watch night animals by floodlight and soak in the sounds and smells of the African bush.

Outdoor pool, garden outlooks, a bar/lounge and on-site restaurant set the scene. All-inclusive rates are offered (meals and beverages at onsite dining included, with some special items possibly extra). Expect dawn-lit bush mornings and evening wildlife viewing from the lodge platforms.
