Whale Away Guest House  

Perched in Hermanus’ Eastcliff neighbourhood, just off the famous cliff path with Walker Bay glimpses. A short walk puts you at Village Square, the Old Harbour and the Whale Museum — prime whale-watching and wine-tasting country.

A small, TGCSA-graded guest house with just five rooms — three face Walker Bay, two look over a quiet garden. Rooms are air‑conditioned and stocked with safes, electric kettles and satellite TV. The property is strictly non self-catering, allows a maximum of two adults per room and does not accept children under 14 or pets. Reception closes in the early evening and the vibe is intimate, neat and coastal.

Outdoor rock pool for summer swims, a terrace and garden with sea-breeze mornings, plus tour/ticket assistance to book boat trips and local activities. Complimentary Wi‑Fi and free off-street/self parking are provided. Elevator access, laundry and car rental services are available on request.

Rates include a complimentary local-cuisine breakfast served at one of Hermanus’ favourite coffee shops. Dozens of nearby restaurants and bistros are within walking distance, many specialising in fresh seafood and regional flavours.
