In the wilds around Hoedspruit — a game lodge set on the edge of a protected national park. Roughly 35 km from Zebra Dam and Kolgans Dam, it’s a base for safari drives and bush-side mornings.

Six individually decorated, air-conditioned rooms each include a private plunge pool and a furnished patio. Expect separate sitting areas, minibars, safes and daily housekeeping. The property has a cozy lobby fireplace, a terrace and garden, plus a spa center offering onsite massages and beauty and wellness services. There’s also a barbecue area and a tour desk to book nearby excursions.
