Hunters Lodge  

Nestled between Nairobi and Mombasa in Kiboko (Twaandu), about 160 km from Nairobi, Hunters Lodge at Kiboko Springs sits on 25 acres minutes from the town centre. Set on the route to the coast, it’s a convenient base for corporate retreats and travellers heading toward Mombasa.

Reopened in 2014 after a careful renovation, the lodge pairs modern comforts with colonial-era character — the property dates back to 1958 and was built by hunter-author John Alexander Hunter. The grounds host 62 rooms with simple, comfortable fittings (TV and shower noted), plus sprawling gardens that draw birdwatchers.
