Salt River Lodge  

Tucked on the northern side of the Knysna lagoon, facing the tide river, Salt River Lodge sits about 2 km from Knysna town center and a short drive from Knysna Quays and the Garden Route National Park. Pet-friendly and family-friendly, it’s a laid-back self-catering option with lagoon and pool views.

Only four flats keep things peaceful and never crowded — each sleeps 4–6 and comes with a full kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, full-sized fridge/freezer). Expect river-facing balconies and pool-side vibes, a pool table, deck braai for local-style barbecues, daily housekeeping, safes and satellite/DStv in-room entertainment.

Soak in the outdoor pool, chill on the terrace and garden, challenge friends at the pool table, or fire up the barbeque/picnic area. There’s an on-site bar, a game/arcade room and tour/ticket assistance to book local outings. Free self-parking and an airport shuttle are available (surcharge for shuttle).
