Deer Lodge

On the edge of Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Deer Lodge sits just moments from the lake, trails and mountain views. It’s roughly a 5-minute drive to Lake Louise and close to ski slopes, gondola access and hiking; Banff is about 45 minutes away and Calgary roughly two hours by car.

Housed in a restored 1902 tea house with hand‑hewn log architecture and period antiques, the lodge offers around 71 individually decorated, rustic-style rooms with down or feather bedding. Rooms feature private en‑suite baths, hairdryers and tea/coffee facilities; many have balconies. Note: most rooms do not have televisions and many do not include telephones. Some twin rooms can accommodate four people by sharing beds.
