Elegantly furnished tents sit on raised platforms with private balconies or patios. Expect wooden four-poster beds with mosquito nets, pillowtop bedding, tea and coffee facilities, and modern private bathrooms with rainfall showers and double vanities. A terrace bar looks out over the river so you can spot animals without leaving the deck. Rates include three game drives a day and return airstrip transfers.

Soak in the outdoor pool or drift the lazy river. Hit the poolside bar or choose one of several small riverfront dining areas. There’s a picnic spot, library with board games, a playground for kids, a massage room and a resident doctor. Tour desk, transfers and on-site parking keep logistics simple. Hot air balloon rides can be arranged for an extra kick.
