Living Irrawaddy Dolphin Project

Set sail from Mandalay aboard a small river vessel that spends part of your stay cruising the Irrawaddy. Close to Pahtodawgyi, U Bein Bridge and Mahamuni Buddha Temple, the dock is roughly 8 km from the city center and about 28 km from Mandalay International Airport.

This intimate ship has just 3 guestrooms, each with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Rooms include free tea bags/instant coffee and bottled water. Expect compact, lived-in spaces and a rooftop terrace that frames river and city views. Bicycles are available to rent for onshore exploring.

Rooftop terrace for sightseeing, bicycle rentals, and a picnic area for casual outdoor hangs. The vessel pulls anchor and sails from Mandalay for part of your stay, so you can wake up to river-breeze mornings and watch the landscape glide by.

Common-area coffee and tea are provided, plus a water dispenser for guest use.

An onboard restaurant serves satisfying meals, and the picnic area is perfect for relaxed bites between excursions.
