Xaus Lodge  

Out in an isolated corner of the Kalahari Desert, Xaus Lodge sits inside Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park near the ǂKhomani Cultural Landscape in Mier (about 19 km from Mier town centre). This private safari eco-lodge is a remote, family-friendly base for wildlife viewing and cultural encounters.

Chalets perch on the edge of a large salt pan with private furnished patios and viewing decks for waterhole sightings; rooms include showers, coffee/tea makers and desks, with limited housekeeping. The lodge is community-owned by the Khomani San and Mier people, and local craft aesthetics and programming shape the décor and guest experience.
