On a tiny barefoot island in South Ari Atoll, a short seaplane hop (about 30 minutes) from Malé. Set by the ocean with a house reef just meters from shore, Mirihi Island Resort offers secluded, family-friendly, all-inclusive-ready island living in the Maldives.

Villas are elegant and simple, with polished wooden floors, private furnished balconies or patios and many built on stilts over the lagoon with steps straight into the water. Rooms feature minibars, espresso makers, Bluetooth sound systems, rainfall showers, down comforters and premium bedding across the intimate villa collection on the island (around 38 individually styled rooms). The island itself is only a few hundred meters long with powder-white sand and palm-fringed beaches.

Full-service spa, private beach, calm lagoon house reef, pool and a variety of water sports — snorkeling, diving, whale shark excursions, canoeing and non-motorized options. There’s also a fitness area, a football pitch, boutique shopping and babysitting/childcare (surcharge). All-inclusive rates are available for meals and many beverages. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning and room service is available during limited hours.
