Tucked on Ong Lang Beach in Phu Quoc, this low-density beach resort sits off the beaten track on 20 hectares of shoreline and protected forest. It’s an eco-friendly hideaway a short drive from Phu Quoc Night Market and about 15 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport. Expect barefoot beach days and easy access to island sights.

The resort is built with island materials — think rammed-earth bungalows, wooden furniture and locally made four-poster beds. Rooms favor simplicity: overhead fans, cotton mosquito nets, open sea views and many with outdoor bathrooms overlooking the forest. There are no air-conditioning units, TVs or telephones in rooms, hot water is solar heated, and snorkelling day trips to nearby islands are offered for small groups.
