Mile 36 Lodge  

Perched at the edge of Mount Kinabalu National Park in Kundasang (Ranau), this lodge is steps from the park entrance and close to Mountain Garden, the Kundasang War Memorial and Poring Hot Spring — an ideal base for exploring Kinabalu's highlands.

A peaceful nature retreat set at about 1,500m with cool mountain air (roughly 18–25°C). The grounds are larger than most lodges, full of flowering shrubs and birdlife, with a front lawn that frames spectacular views of Mount Kinabalu. Around 16–18 simple guestrooms feature private bathrooms, TVs and basic comforts like linens and slippers.
