Pets are welcome for an extra fee. The nearest shop and restaurant are 8.5 km away in Käyrämö; Luosto and Pyhä‑Luosto National Park are roughly 60 km away and Rovaniemi airport about 55 km.

Built in 2006, the cottage blends rustic log charm with simple modern comforts. The open living-room kitchen has a wooden sofa bed; there are two bedrooms with two single beds each and a low loft with two mattresses (steep stairs). A large covered terrace faces the river for easy chill time. The property features a traditional wood‑stove sauna with a shower in the steam room and a separate toilet. A shared fish‑smoking oven is available between three cottages. A reasonable amount of firewood is included; more can be purchased from the caretaker.
