In the wilds near Saariselkä, 255 km north of Rovaniemi, this wooden cottage sits just a short stroll from Hangasoja creek. The National Park boundary is about 2.5 km away; Saariselkä centre is 6 km, Kakslauttanen 5 km and Fell Centre Kiilopää 11 km.

A cozy wooden cabin (built 1977, renovated 2002) with a sleeping alcove accessed through the porch, a living room with a 120 cm bunk bed (separated by closets) and a sofa bed for two. The kitchenette, TV, shower and separate toilet keep things simple and comfy. An electric sauna and a yard fireplace add rustic warmth. The layout is family-friendly and made for groups who like low-key, genuine cabin vibes.

Electric sauna, barbecue area and a sheltered barbecue hut with wood stove, electric light and a CD player. Ski storage and a heated ski maintenance room for winter-sports gear, plus an illuminated ski trail 2 km away. Creek access 50 m from the cottage for quick dips and quiet creek-side mornings.
