Perched in the hillside village of Santo da Serra on Madeira, this family-friendly bungalow complex sits about 670 m above sea level. The estate is a short walk from shops, a bakery, bars, a pharmacy and bus/taxi links. Machico beach is roughly 9 km away, Funchal about 22 km and Madeira Airport around 8 km. The famous Santo da Serra golf course is just minutes on foot.

A beautifully kept 'quinta' converted into 28 self-catering units: chalets and semi-detached cottages set in gardens. Rooms have en suite baths or showers, a kitchenette with fridge, cooker and microwave, tea and coffee facilities, plus a private balcony or terrace. Chalets add a living room and fireplace; Chalet C has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Heating is centrally controlled and reception operates with limited hours, so you’re asked to advise arrival details when booking.

On-site perks include covered parking, a garden, a TV lounge and hotel safe. Walk out to a park of endemic flora and a viewpoint with clear-day sights of Machico valley, Ponta de São Lourenço and Porto Santo island. The nearby beach is rocky, and the golf course is an easy stroll. Expect simple, self-catering comforts and garden-side mornings.
