Lobo Wildlife Lodge  

Perched in the north of Serengeti National Park at Lobo, this lodge sits on a volcanic rocky outcrop along the great migration route. It’s minutes from Northern Serengeti and the Loliondo Game Controlled Area and close to the Maasai Mara migration corridor. The nearest major airstrip is Keekorok (Maasai Mara), roughly 63.6 km away.

Artistically built of stone, timber and clusters of boulders, the lodge blends into the kopje landscape and feels wild and elevated. There are 75 guestrooms, each with private bathrooms (shower/tub combos and deep soaking tubs), designer toiletries, safes and work desks; many rooms offer sweeping views of the plains. The raised position and pool at the rock edge let you watch the wildebeest migration from a sun lounger or from the water, while a lit waterhole below draws wildlife at night.

Take a dip in the pool perched on the rock edge or use the indoor pool and fitness center. There’s a restaurant, bar and lounge, plus banquet facilities for larger gatherings. Complimentary Wi‑Fi, daily housekeeping and free self-parking are available. Expect wide-open plains views and the constant possibility of animals wandering into view.
