Mapito Tented Camp  

Out in the wild heart of Serengeti National Park — a tented camp made for safari seekers. The camp sits roughly 29.5–30.5 miles (about 47–49 km) from the Frankfurt Zoological Society Africa Regional Office and the Seronera Information Centre.

This intimate tented camp has 13 guestrooms, each with a private furnished patio and a simple bathroom with a shower. Rooms include desks and separate sitting areas, and daily housekeeping keeps things tidy. Expect a stripped-back, on-the-plain vibe that keeps the focus on the landscape.

Book tours or get ticket assistance right from the property and slip into safari mode. There’s a restaurant and bar/lounge for evenings, complimentary continental breakfast served daily from 5 AM to 10 AM, and complimentary wireless internet to stay connected. On-request roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge and free self parking is onsite. Laundry service is offered.
