Serengeti Simba Lodge

Outside Ikoma Gate on the Serengeti plains, with sweeping savanna views. Close to Ikorongo and Grumeti game reserves and Fort Ikoma Gate — a family-friendly base for safari drives.

Built from local stone and canvas, the lodge mixes tent romance with permanent comfort. Fifteen large canvas rondavels plus stone-house family rooms make up 21 guestrooms, each with a safe, desk and private bathroom featuring outdoor stone showers and solar hot water.

Take a dip in the outdoor pool, unwind at the bar and watch the sun sink over the plains. Complimentary Wi‑Fi and concierge service keep you connected; transfers can be arranged. Free on-site self parking, daily housekeeping, and laundry/dry cleaning are available. Wake up to sunrise views across the Serengeti.

Dry cleaning and laundry services, luggage storage, a front-desk safe deposit box, and free self parking make logistics easy for guests.

An on-site restaurant serves satisfying meals and a complimentary full breakfast each morning. Wrap up the day with a drink at the bar/lounge after your game drive.
