Namib Desert Lodge  

At the gateway to Sossusvlei, 60 km north of Sesriem on the C19 and about 30 km south of Solitaire, this lodge perches at the foot of the fossilised dunes of the ancient Namib. Nearby draws include Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, Sesriem Canyon and Namib‑Naukluft National Park.

The main building and scattered chalets hug the dune foot, with around 65 en suite rooms featuring air conditioning, mosquito nets and showers. Rooms are individually styled — some with fireplaces and private furnished patios — and an illuminated watering hole often brings oryx and springbok close at dusk.
