On Mozambique’s sunlit coast, a few miles south of Vilanculos (about 12 km from town), Archipelago Resort fronts the waters of the Bazaruto Archipelago and Bazaruto National Park — a top base for snorkeling, diving and big game fishing.

Eighteen beachside chalets and charming Casas sit among indigenous trees. Each chalet sleeps six and has a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious deck with changing tidal views and distant islands. The central hub features a pool, deck and the Sand Dollar restaurant and bar — a relaxed, beach-chic retreat that’s family-friendly and great for groups.

Two pools (including an outdoor pool), private beach access, a PADI-equipped SCUBA dive center and a diving club.
