Tucked into a private 257-hectare mountain valley near Waterval Boven, about 4 km from the town center and 260 km from Johannesburg along the Waterval Boven–Nelspruit Road. Rocky Drift Private Nature Reserve sits around a fountain-fed tributary and rugged kloof.

A cottage set inside a working nature reserve with a rugged-yet-comfortable vibe. Expect valley views, the steady presence of the Joubert Spruit, frequent wildlife sightings and occasional historical rock encampments unearthed on the slopes. Climate runs summer-rainfall style with average temps from roughly 6°C in winter to about 34°C in summer.
