Squeakywindmill Boutique Tent B&B  

On the edge of the western MacDonnell Ranges, just outside Alice Springs. The boutique ecotent campground sits about 12 km from the town center and roughly 12 km from Heavitree Gap and Alice Springs Desert Park, with Todd Mall and Anzac Hill around 16 km away.

Sleep in one of three unique ecotents that take design cues from the Outback. Each tent is fully self-contained with queen or single beds for 2–3 guests, an en suite, a kitchenette, and a private deck or patio. Rooms are air-conditioned and include flat-screen TVs with DVD players, refrigerators, microwaves and coffee/tea makers; weekly housekeeping and rollaway beds are available on request.

Fire up the on-site barbecue grills or relax in the garden after a day on the ranges. There’s free self parking, laundry facilities, an elevator for accessible access and even a doctor available on the premises. Evenings often wind down with a campfire on the deck — wake to broad desert sunrises.
