Eliathos Residence Houses Archanes

Perched in the foothills of Mount Giouchtas, just 500 m south of the historic village of Archanes in Ano Archanes, Heraklion, Crete. Set across 10,000 m² of olive groves and vineyards, the villas and cottages look out over the traditional village, Youchtas mountain and the wide blue gulf of Heraklion — an agro-tourism hideaway in the heart of Cretan countryside.

A family-designed complex of four villas split into ten charming cottages with Venetian‑Archanian architecture and astrological names. Rooms and apartments come with air conditioning, kitchenette, TV, telephone, hairdryer and private balcony or terrace. Cleaning service is daily, with linen and towel change twice a week; reception has limited hours so guests are asked to advise arrival time.

A spacious garden, outdoor pool (60 m²) with panoramic views, room service and parking sit among olive trees and vineyards. Hands-on experiences include guided archaeological and nature tours, winery and olive-orchard walks, horseback rides, astronomy nights with a 16‑inch Dobsonian telescope and restorative spineworks massages — wake up to olive-scented mornings and sea‑breeze vistas.

Wireless internet access and on-site parking are available for guests, with in-room telephone service.

An on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (available at a surcharge) with produce from the garden and local meats and cheeses. Guests can join cooking classes with a renowned local chef to discover authentic Cretan cuisine.
