Mahua Kothi, A Taj Safari - Bandhavgarh National Park

Twelve standalone cottages open onto private courtyards with shaded seating and traditional Katni stone floors. Interiors mix lime-washed mud walls, wooden shutters, rough-hewn rafters and handmade pottery tiles, with wooden puppets and tribal-arched alcoves for local character. King beds face huge windows onto a wooded patch; wide window seats in rust and burnt-orange tones add a cozy perch. Ensuite bathrooms feature twin basins with vintage brass taps, a glass wall to the trees, bamboo blinds lined with raw silk, jaali‑worked tubs and a step-down shower with a brass bucket for a rustic bucket-bath experience.
