Spread across a 45,000 m² site with a main building, annex, detached wings and Sorakan, the property blends traditional beauty and modern art. Rooms range from Japanese-Western to Western styles and all include private hot spring baths fed by 100% natural "mysterious blue water" that can change color. The grounds feature a Japanese garden and a Noh theater, while antiques and modern paintings create unexpected moments. The top-floor public bath was renovated in August 2024 and offers indoor, open-air, box steam, cypress and ceramic baths with sweeping views of Beppu.
