The Loubird Inn  

Tucked on scenic Highway 12 in Escalante, Utah — roughly halfway between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef and edged by the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument. A short walk brings you to Escalante City Park, the library and the Boulder Mail Trailhead.

The Loubird Inn (formerly Canyons BNB) is a small historic guest house with four newly renovated, air-conditioned rooms featuring private outdoor entrances, covered decks and balconies or patios. Rooms show local art (available for sale), sleep on down comforters with premium bedding, and include flat-screen TVs and bathrooms stocked with complimentary toiletries and bathrobes. The grounds are planted with gardens and fruit trees — guests often pick strawberries, plums and tomatoes.
