This boutique historic relais evokes a Moroccan riad with bougainvillea-draped walls, prickly pear and citrus-filled terraces. There are 21 individually decorated rooms with minibars, LCD TVs, private bathrooms (many with bidets) and daily housekeeping. Note: the building’s period charm means there is no elevator.

Soak in the outdoor pool, lounge on sun-drenched terraces or take in views from the rooftop terrace. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served on the terraces each morning.
