It’s about 1 km from the Yulong River, within easy reach of Moon Hill and Yangshuo County Museum, roughly 4 km from West Street and 3.5 km from Yangshuo South Bus Station. Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is about 65 km away and the property is within walking distance of the town center.

Built in Qing and Ming dynasty style to resemble an ancient general’s house, the retreat blends blue-brick and tile architecture with cedar ceilings, silkwood beds and ebony and camphorwood furniture. Rooms are warmly decorated with landscape paintings, wood carving and traditional chinaware. Sit on the balcony with a cup of tea and take in Karst-view mornings while gardens with fish, fountains and blooming vegetables add a lived-in, nostalgic vibe.
