There's a different protocol for every Cancellation scenario. Some Hosts may cancel Bookings on the check-in date, as others do so beforehand. We act in accordance with the situation at hand. Meaning, both yourself and your Host are protected during a Reservation Cancellation.
• Cancellation Before Check-In Date: If a Host cancels a reservation before the check-in date, you cannot leave feedback.
• Cancellation On Check-In Date: If a Host cancels the reservation on or after the check-in date, Guests are able to leave feedback.
• Cancellation Penalty: As a penalty, Karta will automatically post a notice on a Host’s profile for canceling a reservation.
• Feedback: If you haven’t checked-in, you will be unable to review or rate the accommodation or amenities. On the other hand, Checked-In Guests will be able provide feedback with the specification of communication or booking issues.
