The Old Hall Inn  

Tucked in the heart of the Peak District, about 15 miles from Manchester and a 10-minute walk from Chinley Railway Station. Chatsworth House sits roughly 20 miles away and Kinder Scout’s scenic walks are about a 20-minute drive.

This family-run, 16th-century country inn doubles as a proper English pub with a warm welcome and historic charm. En-suite rooms come with flat-screen TVs and hot drink making facilities, and some rooms are housed in the adjacent Paper Mill Inn. The Minstrels Gallery links the inn to the neighbouring Elizabethan Whitehough Hall.
