On the banks of the Olifants River in the Parsons Section of Balule Game Reserve near Hoedspruit — open to Kruger National Park with views out toward the Blyde River Canyon on clear days. A river-view lodge and family-friendly safari base for spotting the Big Five and abundant birdlife.

The property offers 2 en‑suite river-view rooms and 1 en‑suite garden-view room (the lodge sleeps six, with space for an extra single mattress for small children). Two basic but comfortable safari tents overlook the river and have double beds, fans and small patios; the tent bathroom is communal about 30m away. Some accommodations feature private balconies/patios, fireplaces and flat-screen TVs. Game viewing can start right from the grounds; plenty of garden seating and a boma make evenings social and scenic.

Outdoor pool and swimming options, a massage room for treatments, an on-site bar, picnic and barbecue areas, plus a boma for evening gatherings. Transfers and tour/ticket assistance are available, and the lodge runs morning and late-afternoon game drives and guided game walks within the reserve. Laundry, ironing and a safe-deposit box are on site, and there’s free self-parking. Wake up to river-breeze mornings and sundowner views over the Olifants.
