Tucked in the pretty hamlet of Barrows Green, about 3 miles (5 km) south of Kendal in Cumbria. Minutes from Oxenholme rail station and within easy reach of Windermere (10 miles), the Yorkshire Dales (8 miles) and the Trough of Bowland (19 miles). Pet-friendly, family-friendly countryside cottages with doorstep walks onto the Helm.

Recently renovated stone barns turned into three tastefully decorated cottages and a large sporting lodge. The group sleeps 18 across 11 beds in 9 bedrooms (8 bathrooms, some ensuite); the smaller cottage sleeps 4 and has a downstairs ensuite wetroom with wheelchair access. Each cottage has its own lounge, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and flat-screen TV, while the lodge features a big log burner, pool table and a dining space for 18.

Free private parking and free Wi‑Fi across the property. On-site restaurant, library and picnic area for relaxed downtime. Accessible features include an elevator and wheelchair-friendly ground-floor facilities. Extras on offer: car rental and press services.
