On Koh Phangan’s sandy shore, Benjamin Hut sits right on the beach near Haad San Chao and Haad Chao Phao. Minutes from Laem Son Lake and a short drive to Thong Sala Pier, it’s a tidy beach hotel that keeps you close to island beaches and dives.

Fourteen air-conditioned rooms keep things laid-back and beachy. Rooms feature private balconies, refrigerators, showers and complimentary toiletries, with desks in some room types and limited (weekly) housekeeping. The front desk is staffed on limited hours for a low-key stay.
