In Leek, in the Staffordshire Moorlands — a holiday-home cottage a short walk from town and about 5 miles from the Peak District. Manchester Airport sits roughly 24 miles away.

This two-bedroom cottage has two en-suite bedrooms; one en-suite on the first floor features a spa bath accessed via stairs from the living room. The kitchen has oak units and granite worktops plus oven, microwave and fridge. The living room offers a 42-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Both bathrooms are on the first floor, so none on the ground floor.

Situated adjacent to The Retreat Beauty and Relaxation Centre, the property links straight into spa and massage services. Free on-site parking and free WiFi are available throughout. Breakfast baskets can be arranged for an extra fee. Shops, bars and restaurants are about a seven-minute walk, and the cottage sits along a main road that can be busy at times.

The adjoining Retreat Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and Afternoon Tea Monday–Saturday. Guests can also order a breakfast basket or wander into Leek for local pubs and cafés.
