The Hunting Lodge  

Tucked in Barrow Upon Soar just outside Loughborough, this six-room guesthouse sits minutes from Loughborough University, the Great Central Railway and Prestwold Hall. The National Space Centre and Loughborough town attractions are a short drive away, with East Midlands Airport roughly 20 km out.

A three-story granite building with six individually styled bedrooms — think The Biko room through to the Louis Room. Rooms come with digital TV/DVD players, coffee/tea makers and shower/tub combos. The vibe is personal and characterful, with a full restaurant and bar on site.

On-site recreation includes a tennis court, karaoke and a garden with picnic and barbecue areas. Wedding services are available and free self-parking is provided. Expect peaceful village mornings and an easy, social common area.

There’s a business center and a conference/meeting hall for events. Complimentary wired and wireless internet, luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk keep things straightforward for work or meetings.
