Set near a waterfall in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, about 3 km east of Maleny. The retreat sits beside a golf course and is close to Gardners Falls, Maleny Cheese and Maleny Dairies, with Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Maleny Botanic Gardens and Lake Baroon all within easy reach. Australia Zoo is roughly a 15-minute drive away.

An intimate boutique retreat with around 14 air-conditioned guestrooms and standalone one- and two-bedroom villas, including a wheelchair-accessible option. Expect Thai-inspired style set against rainforest surrounds, private furnished balconies or decks, king beds, wood-burning fireplaces and cedar outdoor hot tubs. Rooms come with refrigerators, microwaves, LED TVs, iPod docks and designer toiletries.

Soak in an outdoor cedar hot tub to the sound of the waterfall or lounge by an outdoor pool; bicycles are available to rent. The property features a destination day spa with treatment rooms, hydrotherapy facilities, a mineralised spa, steam room and rain showers. Family-friendly touches include babysitting/childcare (surcharge) and children's playrooms, and a complimentary full breakfast is served daily.

Conference space and a meeting room are onsite for small events. Complimentary high-speed wireless internet keeps you connected; front desk hours are limited and a roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge. Free self-parking is provided.

An award-winning Modern Asian on-site restaurant and cooking school serves lunch and dinner, with a bar/lounge and limited-hour room service. A complimentary full breakfast is included each morning. Note: some dining and bar venues are closed on Monday and Tuesday, and spa/beauty services may be temporarily unavailable during scheduled renovations.
