Perched on Fort Road in Margate’s historic harbour district, this sea-facing boutique hotel sits a stone's throw from Margate Beach, the Turner Contemporary and the Harbour Arm. Right in the city centre, it’s a pet-friendly base for exploring the old town and local sights like Margate Tudor House.

Housed in a sensitively refurbished 1820 boarding house (refurbished 2022), the hotel has just 14 individually decorated rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Expect striking local artwork, beds made from natural fibres and 400-thread-count sheets. Many rooms offer fabulous sea views and simple, modern comforts like a desk and tea/coffee maker.
