On North Conway’s Strip along White Mountain Highway, a historic motel right in the center of town. About 1 mile south of North Conway Village and 1 mile north of Settlers' Green, it’s a short drive to M&D Playhouse and Settlers' Green Outlet Village, roughly 1.9 miles from Cranmore Mountain Resort and 4.4 miles from Cathedral Ledge Lookout. Open seasonally from May 11 through November 1.

Sleep where the chalkboard used to hang — the main building began life as an elementary school circa 1890, joined by two additions and five cottages in 1954. One of North Conway’s oldest running motels, the property offers 25 air-conditioned rooms with refrigerators, private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and hair dryers, cable TV, phones, and coffee/tea makers. Housekeeping is provided daily and staff are available in English and French; front desk hours are limited.
