Commercial Hotel

In the centre of St Just, tucked into Cornwall’s Land's End country and a short hop from Porth Nanven and the coastal paths. Close enough to Penzance for day trips, this historic inn puts the rugged Atlantic coastline on your doorstep.

A former coaching inn run by the Woolcock family for over a century, The Commercial blends classic Cornish charm with 4-star en‑suite rooms. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and shared spaces include a conservatory and a planted patio that feel like a local hideout. Accessible lift, a library and a children’s playroom add practical comforts.

On-site features include a lively bar, a restaurant, free parking and complimentary Wi‑Fi throughout. The conservatory opens onto a garden patio where parents can relax while kids burn off energy; an ATM and multilingual staff (English, Spanish, French) are available.

Well known locally for great food, the inn offers an extensive menu with weekly specials that showcase Cornish produce. Famous Sunday roasts and simple, fresh fish and shellfish dishes are highlights—dine in the conservatory or out on the garden patio.
