Cantina Antinori and the Florence Charterhouse are about 15 minutes by car, and historic Florence sights like Pitti Palace and Piazzale Michelangelo are within a 15–20 minute drive.

Set in a historic farmhouse once tied to Niccolò Machiavelli, the place serves classic Tuscan style with modern comforts. Six air-conditioned rooms feature refrigerators, LCD/satellite TV, sofa beds, down comforters and Egyptian cotton sheets, plus ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers, bidets and complimentary toiletries. Expect hilltop views of olive groves, vineyards and cypress-lined lanes, birdsong at dawn and fireflies after dark.
