Floating on Srinagar’s Dal Lake, Iram Houseboats drops you into classic Kashmiri waterside life. The deluxe houseboats sit amid lotus-strewn floating gardens with views of the Zabarwan / Takht-e-Suleiman mountain range. It’s about 2 km from Srinagar city center, roughly 5–7 miles from local landmarks like Shankaracharya Mandir and Hazratbal Mosque, and around 14 miles from Srinagar Airport.

This is a novel houseboat stay with a homely crew—captain, chef and room attendant—running a row of interconnected deluxe boats. Twelve carpeted rooms offer en suite bathrooms with bathtubs, terraces, TVs and a fireplace in some boats. Expect sun decks, attached shikaras for lake crossings and simple, cozy décor that frames mountain and water views.

On-board perks include a restaurant and bar, access to a hot tub, a massage room, BBQ area and a sun deck for lake-mist mornings.
