Torrs Warren Country House  

Out in the Rhins of southwest Scotland, a country house bed and breakfast just outside Stranraer. Set on two and a half acres with sea views, about a mile from the beach, five miles from Portpatrick and eight miles from the Cairnryan ferry port. A peaceful base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

A converted manse turned comfortable country house with a homely, tartan-styled vibe. Ten individual rooms and suites range from superior king suites with sofas to smaller doubles and family rooms, many with ensuite bath or shower, TV, ironing board and hairdryer. Expect fireplaces, lounges, a conservatory, a library and gardens with a pond. Resident pets live on site, but the hotel does not accept guest dogs.

A cozy on-site bar and a restaurant set the tone for relaxed evenings. Gardens, picnic and BBQ areas invite slow afternoons. There is free parking on the grounds and communal spaces for reading, games and fireside lounging. Wake up to sea-breeze mornings and views over the garden and coastline.

A conference hall is available for meetings. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. Guests also have access to laundry, ironing and a safe-deposit box, plus private check-in and check-out.
