On South Devon’s rugged coast in the pretty village of Maidencombe, just outside Torquay. This independent, family-run country house hotel perches above the sea with spectacular coastal views. Walk the S W Coast Path or wander down to Whitsand Beach and Watcombe Beach; the town centre of Torquay is about 4 km away.
Details
A magnificent manor house with a warm, classic feel and sea-facing rooms. Rooms are warmly decorated and well equipped with TV and private bathrooms. Two styles of Deluxe Double Hot Tub Suites are offered (Coach House Hot Tub Suites and the Garden Room Hot Tub Suite) — allocation is subject to availability. All guest rooms are on the top floor and require negotiating two sets of stairs, so the hotel is not suited to guests with mobility issues. Children under 12 are restricted in some arrangements and pets are not accepted (service dogs allowed).
