Eagle Rock Lodge  

On the banks of the McKenzie River in Vida, Oregon — about 30 miles east of Eugene and roughly 45 miles from Eugene Airport. This 8-room bed and breakfast sits on more than 4 acres with about 400 feet of river frontage. Hike the McKenzie River Trail or visit nearby Sahalie and Koosah Falls, then come back to a true riverfront, pet-friendly hideaway.

A small, edgy lodge with landscaped gardens and river views. Rooms have private bathrooms with free toiletries, hairdryers and bathrobes; some rooms sport gas fireplaces, one has a wood-burning fireplace, and a few offer jetted tubs. Chill on the back porch, den or sun terrace and roll out of bed straight into backyard fishing.

Breakfast included (cooked-to-order). Picnic and barbecue areas, garden with grill, sun terrace, laundry, private check-in/out and free private parking. Staff can help arrange rafting and fishing trips, and a local chef can prepare a 4-course meal for guests (extra charge). Wake up to river sounds and evenings with a complimentary glass of wine and freshly baked cookies.
